double seed stitch blanket is done!

even though i frogged more rows than i can count, i still managed to make a mistake that i didn’t catch early enough — the pattern is shifted so it’s in alignment with the row above it, rather than staggered. not super noticeable, but still disappointing after all the time i put into it. and i messed up the pattern when casting off, and i could fix that by ripping out the cast off row and the row before it, but i haven’t really wanted to do that since i considered it done.

it’s heavy and warm, and big enough to cover my full-sized bed. i will not be cold this winter!

I absolutely love the color and texture of this! And a little wabi-sabi gives it handmade character.

That looks fantastic! Great job! I’ve yet to try making a whole blanket. I made scarf and that felt like it took FOREVER to do.

    Hi there,
I read in one of your other posts that you were going to look for a wool different from the purl soho super soft merino for this project. I was wondering what wool you ended up going with.
    Kind regards
