somehow some oregano traveled across the yard into the strawberry patch. i like to picture it packing a suitcase, and making its escape from the herb gardenĀ — in the moonlight — to sunnier days with the strawberries on the west side of the yard.
(and that is as good as it gets today. it’s already been a long week!)

So the question is, where in the world did the huge mint patch in my rain garden move from? Because I didn’t plant it.

makes perfect sense to me. i love the furry leaves of oregano and my pizza loves it, too!

I love that image too. mr. oregano with his hat on and his little suitcase following the little path the moon had lit specially for him…

Well, that’s super fun! I guess I’d rather hang out with the strawberries rather than the chives. Smart Oregano, very smart.
Anna – the mint in your garden must have come from mine. We’re close enough.

Who wouldn’t want to move in with strawberries? I would. Maybe you’ll end up with sweet-smelling pasta sauce, or just a kick of extra flavor in your strawberry shortcake…

Little oregano branching out on its own. Hope the rest of your week is swell, oh right. You’ll be in NYC! Have a fabulous time.
