polaroid box
i needed a means of storing my polaroids… the drawer i was throwing them in was starting to become a mess. so i made myself a box.

i made the first measurements based on the polaroid size and then just built from there. well… it wasn’t that simple. but the nerd in me loves those number challenges and when it fits all together in the end it’s worth the tediousness.

My book guild spent 3 meetings on clam shell book boxes. I did not participate, sat on the sidelines + watched only a couple people complete their boxes. Those who finished have since made several more. It takes a special type of person to enjoy this type of work. Your box is beautiful + having mulled through directions + measurements I can appreciate your effort.

wow! very impressive. I LOVE polaroids as well, but have succumbed to storing them in the ‘regular’ old photo boxes- but this one is a beauty! What materials do you use?

Wowzer! It’s fabulous. I adore how perfectly it fits the polas. And those little file divider labels are the icing on the cake. You know I’ve made boxes, but I’ve never tried to make them to specifically fit around something. I’m sure that took some math skills! But boy was it worth it. Beautiful!

My brain hurts! Is there anything you can’t do? I can’t even make a damned loop out of wire.

I might just have to call you MacGyver. Great work as usual. You will definitely see me in May. I can’t wait. I’ll tell hubbie that I’m on vaca. Can you email me what you have planned for that weekend? I have a great idea that I want to run past you.

This is amazing, just what I need! Do you fancy making these and selling them on etsy?! I’d buy one.

Seconded! If I saw this on Etsy, I’d definitely buy one (or two!).

I’ve been on the hunt for one of these for awhile, and this is just what I’ve been after! Therefore I concur with all this ‘getting it on etsy’ business!
