i fully expected that 2013 would be a really awesome year, being that my lucky number is 13, and also because i think i deserve an awesome year. but the first month really sucked. shitty things happened not only to me, but to numerous friends, too. it wasn’t what i was expecting for the new year.

so a friend and i decided that january needs to just fuck off, and that february 1 will be the start of our new year. my fingers are crossed that this month will be better than january, and that each month after gets exponentially awesomer. in the last few weeks i’ve made sure there are trips that i can look forward to… i think i’m getting a promotion at work next week… i really want to get back on a regular running schedule as soon as temps hit double digits again… i’m trying hard to make it better… i have hope that it can be.
