another new project i’ve been working on: digitally drawing my polaroids, then having the drawings laser cut into paper. eeee!
i’ve been wanting to do this for over 2 years. the idea came to me shortly after i created my wires t: i knew there was more that i could do with my polaroids, and i loved the idea of playing with negative space. there are many reasons why it took me over 2 years to pull this together, and i did write them out in a draft of this post, but decided it wasn’t very exciting to share. i’ve done it, i love the result, and i’m working on creating more with my collection of polaroids.
yeah, i know, laundromat? it was when i got the proof back it hit me: jen, who the eff is going to buy a greeting card that says laundromat?! and then i brushed that question aside because i LOVE this greeting card, and i don’t care if no one buys it.
but if you want to buy one (or more!) you can find them in my etsy shop.
