warehouse, part ii

this is my favorite building in the warehouse district. the boarded up windows used to be green, as you can see in last july’s polaroid, warehouse.
a local photographer, jessie (of clewell photography), left me a comment a couple of weeks ago and mentioned the windows are now purple. ack! ick! i thought, i must see that! so i drove over on saturday.
and i actually really like it. i still like the green more, though.

A very interesting building! I think I like the green better, too.

I’m there with you on the green.

The purples not bad, but yes, the green was better.

I agree with Anna. Any ideas on why it changed? What was it before green? Wonders..wonders…

i like the green better too, maybe….hmmm i keep going back and forth. what would be really fun is if they change this every once in a while and you take a series of polas!

also prefer the green. and love the building, its gorgeous, how cool would it be with glass on the window , used as a studio?

I love those old buildings. Im glad they are still standing. What do they do with them? I mean, the empty ones like this one get rented out?? or is it awaiting demolishion?? around here lately it seems like everything is getting demolished.
I like the soft purple too… although green has a nicer contrast…

I like how the purple blends with the sky.

the green is way better – but at least they didn’t paint them beige or a neutral color. i love old warehouses.

agreeing with everyone else, the green was bolder and more with the character of the building. the lilac is giving me visions of a grumpy old granny painting it.
