art for five bucks

i went to the st. paul art crawl on friday night, and came across this awesome cigarette vending machine full of art. for five bucks. i gave the attendee a fiver, and she handed me a cup of quarters. i put them in, one at a time, while i pondered my purchase. this is what i picked:

appropriate from a ciggie vending machine, no?

Hey. I love how the polaroid turned out and thanks for the tip on the film. i’m glad that you enjoyed the machine and your artwork from it. You can check out our permanent machine at altered esthetics in the Q’arma building in NE MPLS anytime. We are also a part of Art-a-Whirl, and will have new in our art vending machines for it. Thanks.

I saw something similar on someone else’s blog. Very cool concept. I like Melinda’s idea of sending you some moolah so we can have ciggie art too!
