weekend to-do

here’s my weekend to-do list:
- pick paper colors for a new project i’ve been wanting to do for months
- make a batch of cherry & almond granola
- figure out what to make with the paper beads pARTy newbie sarah gave me
- work on finishing 2 books i am currently reading (why am i reading 2 books at the same time?!)
- do some block printing with gold ink
- count and fold paper for triangle jotters for my first big wholesale order (!)
- design and create new greeting cards using my jotter colors but with squares instead of triangles
happy weekend!

I love this – the photo, the numbers, the list. What a fun little peak into your weekend. Mine involves solo parenting for the most part so not as fun to peak into and much more difficult to photograph in advance. Although if they’re nice to me there will be a whole lot of valentine making. Enjoy!

I am often reading 2 books at once, one at work (I am a receptionist and often have lulls in between top of the hour check-in/out times) and another at home, ya know, so I don’t have to shlep books back and forth. BUT this week I read 2 books that I could not put down, “Born to Run” by Christopher McDougal and “Born Stand Up” by Steve Martin (funny, I just realized that both start with the word BORN. Coincidence?). They were carried back and forth from work, to home, to the DMV to wait to get my new license, and to the Red Cross to wait for my turn to donate blood.
Great news about a wholesale order + yum, paper samples!
Have a great weekend.

looks like a busy (but satisfying) weekend ahead! (yay for the wholesale order!) what else are you to do when it’s zero outside?
i suppose you read two books at the same time for the same reason i have seven scarves on the needles at once. good luck to you!
