stirrings : anticipation
a new collaboration with a new friend! sara of ibbyskibby and i will be sending each other photos of the first signs of spring. sara is in salt lake city, utah, and will be seeing spring much sooner than i… spring doesn’t really arrive in st. paul, minnesota until mid-april. so i’ll be on the receiving end for now.
we’re calling our collaboration stirrings. here’s the first photo from sara, titled anticipation:

there are my bare hands, knitting a hat OUTDOORS while waiting for the bus last friday.
bare hands? i can’t wait! (and love those tights!)
happy weekend! and for you locals: it’s still winter here, and you have one more week to check out the art shanties onĀ medicine lake! check it out.

Yep, love the tights. Still hard to imagine knitting outdoors yet. Speaking of, Anodyne doesn’t have an outdoor seating area does it? We may have to seek an alternative location come late spring for a knitting night or two.

my question: have YOU been to the art shanties? did you take the art car out on the lake? oh, i love minnesotans…

You and Uniform Studio have infected me with tight love and boot love. I just bought some boots today, not cheaply either. But can’t wait to wear my “Super Jen” look!

How fun to come back later and read your comments! I do love these tights. I’ll be sad when they lose their shape. I tend to wear my clothes until they fall apart!
