resolution
hello, and welcome to 2009! i hope all of you had a wonderful holiday, and now, well, we’re in back to real life and welcoming january…
while i do have my vices and bad habits, i only made one new year’s resolution this year: to finish knitting my first sweater by the end of the month. after knitting christmas scarves, it’s time i knit myself something warm. and even though february is the shortest month of the year, it always seems the longest, coldest, greyest, and wearing a sunny orange sweater will make the day better.

Love the color! Looks like you’re making great progress on those small needles. I also know how long it takes me to make a sweater so we definitely need to make sure knitting night falls on nights you can come.
I started stitching up the seams on Eleanor’s cardi last night. Next up – picking out a button!

I love the color! Do you think you’re pushing it by trying to complete your new years resolution by the end of the first month in the year? Or are you on such a knitting roll that it will be easy;)? Either way, can’t wait to see the finished result.

No resolutions from me either. I like that the time just drifts on. That orange is fabulous. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Eek! I tried to knit myself a sweater once and got so discouraged, I put it away forever. The color is gorgeous… Can’t wait to see it.
