xmas pARTy
last saturday i hosted our 6th annual xmas pARTy. we made christmas gifts, ate a ton of cheese and sugar (jenn brought cake and cupcakes!), and drank wine. it was a wonderful day.
the image above is just a sampling of the gifts that were made: jean and kathryn painted photos on blocks of wood, jackie made salt scrubs, jenn made some halfeaten gingerbread men (using elsie marley’s great tutorial), i knitted a scarf, and kristen, anna, jackie, and kathryn decorated grono lights. so many handmade gifts, hooray!

Kristen really got the hang of that swiveling xacto knife. Impressive! My woods scene is now next to my desk with a Lake Superior stone and some shells on the shelf. I love it!! Thanks for another great day of creativity and fun.

Thank you so much! I had a rockin’ good time and got more done than I thought I would. Now, I just have to figure out how to mail those lights to NYC.

Thanks for the fun! My little men are on their way to being finished. Anna - I got a lamp to my sister in Colorado, but my parents drove it there. Sorry.

my lamp was a big hit at home…so it will be my gift to the family. first thing peanut does when he gets out of bed is turn on his lamp. thanks again jen! so much fun!!
(and note to Kathryn…send us a photo of the finished product. i would love to see the shelves in action)

Looks like another fun, and productive, pARTy! I love the lamps and checked out your tutorial! (I love the coney island collange lamp!) I am thinking I could have a lamp making pARTy of some sort!
