a few weeks ago i was on the corner of 2nd avenue & 1st street, waiting for a friend who was meeting me for dinner at the bachelor farmer (which is within one of my favorite buildings in the warehouse district). the commutator co. brass foundry is on the southeast corner of that intersection, and i’m obsessed with the deteriorating paint on the exterior brick.
