shane and i stopped at the red wing art festival on the way home from buying pumpkins and apples last saturday. i was so happy to see holmquist pottery there! they’ve been a favorite of mine for years, and are regular exhibitors at the uptown art fair. i just love the color and illustrations – they’re cute, without being too cartoony. i’ve got 2 of their treat jars (one holds treats for me, the other holds milk bones), and decided i need a new tea mug for work that reminds me of my dogs:

i think the mug captures both of them pretty well!
