little bowl

paper mache bowls have been on my creative to-do list for a few months, and last weekend i finally got a chance to put one together. it’s made with pages of old books, and the circles are cut from security envelopes (inspired by this post on design*sponge).
this is to be the first of many (i hope!), but i need to perfect the technique a bit. then maybe a tutorial is in order?
happy weekend!

Lovely bowl, I’m partial to paper bowls too, and to the inside of envelopes my envelope mobile would look good above your bowl (www.flickr.com/photos/callycreates/2282318078/)

Why are your bills arriving in prettier envelopes than mine? I might need to change phone companies…
What a lovely bowl. It’s nice to see that I can still remember some of my German, too

Thanks for posting a great tutorial! I love projects that put to good use the pretty things I have stashed away. I made one for a friend this weekend and she was pleased as punch!
