chicago in polaroid
my long weekend in chicago with jackie was wonderful. i got home yesterday but haven’t had time to process it all… i’ll need a few more days to think about what to write and the photos i want to share. for now, i’ll leave you with a few polaroids:

train crossing the chicago river.

division street, on the way to renegade handmade (we bought macaroons at the alliance bakery on the way back).

the bean at millenium park. that’s me on the far right. jackie and rachel (who met us for lunch on friday) stand to the left.

y is for yellow. spotted on ontario street.
the polaroid film i brought to chicago expired in 2008, which explains the desaturated polas. and the chilly temps (low 30′s) hindered the development process a bit, too… i can live with it! happy monday!

i love the desaturated colors, which is closer to how we remember things, anyway. some polaroid photographer said that and i agree. the river and the yellow ‘y’ are my favs. your trip looks great!
