last friday’s strib had a few mentions of this show which sounds like a lot of fun: “news from the moon” showcases work by amy crickenburger oeth and jennifer davis, friends since the early nineties. (i love jennifer’s work: she’s got a great etsy shop and i’ve been admiring her pieces for a few months now.) the strib says the show “promises to be chock full of whimsical dreamscapes and playful abstractions that tap into an otherworldly vein of imagination”.

i missed the opening reception, but plan to visit the show after work in the next week or two (anyone want to meet after work for a glass of vino at maxwell’s or a beer at grumpy’s beforehand?). hours and location available on the rosalux art gallery web site. also check out the blog for the show: newsfromthemoonatrosalux.blogspot.com.
