sometimes i just need to accept that i’m just not going to have the energy to be productive when the days are short and cold. i need to remember to embrace it, get under the blankets, and pop in a movie. or get to that reading pile. and always include buttered popcorn. but before getting too comfortable, consider doing a little coloring. last week valentina posted amazing coloring pages, and i’ve been spending 15-20 minutes each night coloring since then. and i’ve found that it’s very meditative: i can’t focus on anything other than the coloring, otherwise i’ll go outside of the lines. but i can also let my mind wander as i go, and after a 15 minute session i feel renewed. there should be more coloring book options for grown-ups!
